Frequently Asked Questions

Will this program help me lose weight? No. This program is designed for women who are pregnant & early postpartum (though it's great for any exercise beginners as well!) so the focus is not on body composition and instead focuses on healing, strengthening, & preparing the body for birth, recovery, and life with kids! You may notice changes in your body composition due to regular exercise, nutrition, and mindset support.

Will this help with Diastasis Recti? This program will not exacerbate diastasis, and will help improve fascial tension. If you are looking for something more pelvic floor and core focused, my program Core Foundations would be perfect!

How soon postpartum can I start this program? As long as you have clearance from your doc or midwife, you can begin this program at 6 weeks postpartum after a vaginal birth with no complications, or 10-12 weeks after a C-section that is healing well.

I had kids a long time ago. Will this program still work for me? Yes! Once postpartum, ALWAYS postpartum. It is never too late to restore your body & get stronger!

Do I need any equipment? Yes. I recommend a set of light dumbbells (2-4 lbs) and a set of heavier dumbbells (5-10 lbs). We also will use mini bands & a 20 lb resistance band. You can find them used in good condition on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist, or get them new at Target, Walmart, or your local sporting goods store. Stores like Marshall's usually have a decent selection as well!
