About Mighty Mama in Pajamas
Mighty Mama in Pajamas was inspired by my own fitness routine. Upon becoming a mother, I found myself mostly in pj's and that I was more consistent with exercise when I didn't have to change into special workout gear or even leave the house.
With my professional experience, I was able to design workouts that shape and tone the whole body in a short amount of time, without causing extreme soreness or common postpartum symptoms like incontinence. My no-stress approach to nutrition is simple and perfect for any woman who wants amazing results without the fuss and specificity of typical nutrition plans.
I am a personal trainer certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I am also certified by Knocked-Up Fitness© as a pre- and postnatal exercise specialist and JMG Fitness as a postnatal fitness specialist.
My natal studies covered a wide range of women's health topics including strength training, cardiovascular training, diastasis recti, pelvic floor dysfunction, sexual health, body image, nutrition, mental health, and more. I also have completed some studies of psychology from Fort Hays State University.
I was born in Fresno, California and have lived in many places including Bishop, CA; Santa Maria, CA; and Glendale, CA. Currently I live in Lebanon, OR.
When I am not training clients, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, reading, or taking a yoga class. I had a past-life as a working musician and enjoys playing guitar and singing, and karaoke night. I also like a glass of a good red wine and a chocolate mug cake from time to time.
