NASM Certified Personal Trainer, &
Certified Pre & Postnatal Exercise Specialist
As a busy mom myself, I strive to make being healthy & fit as simple and to the point as possible! I believe fitness shouldn't be stressful, and is most successful when approached from love & respect for oneself vs. trying to fit into society's image of healthy & fit. It's also my passion to educate women about pregnancy, postpartum, & beyond so that they feel empowered to design a healthy lifestyle that feels right for them!

Hi! I am a personal trainer certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I am also certified by Knocked-Up Fitness© as a pre- and postnatal exercise specialist and JMG Fitness as a postnatal fitness specialist.
My natal studies covered a wide range of women's health topics including strength training, cardiovascular training, diastasis recti, pelvic floor dysfunction, sexual health, body image, nutrition, mental health, and more. I also have completed some studies of psychology from Fort Hays State University.
“Melody is awesome! She is great at addressing questions about form, making sure I’m getting everything right, and helps me work through struggles related to postpartum issues. She’s very patient and calm. [I was concerned that] I wouldn’t see results as soon as I wanted. Melody helped me with my reservations by encouraging me through every level I was at physically. I feel stronger!”
"Melody helped me gain confidence in working out and feel comfortable with free weights. She was able to give me appropriate exercises that helped with my diastasis. I feel stronger, I am not having accidents at the gym, I can do jumping jacks again and I am gaining confidence in myself and my abilities.”
“Melody has helped me so much in just the one Skype session we had. I have a prolapsed bladder that began in my second pregnancy and never left. According to my chiropractor, my core and floor are getting stronger, so I know it's working!"
“I had worked with a few trainers before with bootcamp style workouts. I thought that was what I needed to give myself that extra push to lose weight and become stronger. What happened was that I was pushing so hard that I was not able to maintain proper form and ultimately ended up with injuries that kept me out of the gym for months to years. I like that Melody focuses on building a strong core, and her routines are restorative while building the lean muscle I want.”
